ANT 221 Comparative Cultures
This course provides an ethnographic survey of
societies around the world covering their
distinctive cultural characteristics and how these
relate to cultural change. Emphasis is placed on
the similarities and differences in social
institutions such as family, economics, politics,
education, and religion. Upon completion,
students should be able to demonstrate knowledge
of a variety of cultural adaptive strategies.
