HUM 240 Math and the Arts
This course examines the historical development of
the interrelationship between mathematics and
various art disciplines. Topics include music,
religion, literature, drawing, painting,
architecture, photography, computer enhancement,
holography, fractals, and tesselation. Upon
completion, students should be able to explain,
both orally and in writing, the interrelationship
between mathematics and selected art forms.
