PSY 131 Psychology of Dreams
This course covers the physiology of sleeping and
dreaming and the major psychological approaches to
the interpretation of dreams. Topics include
historical and cultural perspectives on dreams,
sleep disorders, and an examination of traditional
and contemporary approaches to dreams and their
meaning. Upon completion, students should be able
to demonstrate a basic understanding of the
psychological implications of sleeping and
dreaming.
