PTA 152 PTA Wellness and Prevention
This course is designed to investigate and apply,
under the supervision of a therapist, the basic
concepts and principles of lifetime wellness and
prevention. Emphasis is placed on improving
overall health through the study of nutrition,
weight control, stress management, and exercise
including conditioning, strength, and flexibility.
Upon completion, the students should be able to
develop, implement, and maintain an individualized
personal wellness program.
