Enrollment
In order to guarantee high program standards and student success, it is important that the academic abilities of students be equal to program entrance requirements. The “open door” policy allows all students the opportunity to further their education; however, program entrance requirements must be met. The student evaluation process, through the evaluation of high school GPA, transcript evaluation and placement tests, assures that students will be enrolled in courses appropriate to their academic abilities. Entrance requirements vary for individual courses and programs. See program and course descriptions in the catalog for prerequisites and entrance requirements.
