Eligibility
Applicants may apply for a scholarship, grant, loan, work-study, or any combination of these. The total combined sum of these must not exceed total need. To receive financial aid from these programs, a student must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.
- Be registered with Selective Service, if required.
- Have financial need.
- Be older than compulsory age of secondary school attendance.
- Not already have a baccalaureate degree.
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined for aid recipients by the U.S. Department of Education. (See Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy)
- Not owe a refund on a previous grant nor be in default on a previous educational loan.
- Be enrolled in a program leading to an eligible program of study.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
