Eligibility

Applicants may apply for a scholarship, grant, loan, work-study, or any combination of these aid opportunities. The total combined sum of these must not exceed the student's total unmet need. Eligibility requirements:

1. Be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.
2. Be registered with Selective Service, if required.
3. Have not previously been awarded a Baccalaureate degree (for most aid programs).
4. Have a documented financial need as determined by FAFSA results.
5. Be older than compulsory age of secondary school attendance.
6. Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as defined for aid recipients by the U.S. Department of Education (See Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy).
7. Not owe an overpayment on a previous grant or be in default on a student loan.
8. Be enrolled in a Title IV eligible program of study.
9. Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

After the student's FAFSA has been processed and a determination of eligibility has been made, award notifications will be sent via student email and will be available for access on the student's WebAdvisor or Self Service account.
