North Carolina Community College Grant

Grants are available to students in need and are enrolled in a North Carolina community college.  Students are considered for eligibility based on FAFSA data. Eligibility is determined by the student data obtained from the FAFSA.

North Carolina Education Lottery Scholarship (ELS)

The North Carolina Lottery Scholarship was created by the 2005 General Assembly to provide financial assistance to needy North Carolina resident students attending eligible colleges and universities located within the state of North Carolina. North Carolina Education and Training Voucher Program (NCETV Program)

The NCETV Program is designed to help foster youth and former foster youth through college or vocational/technical training.

North Carolina Less Than Half-Time Grant

The State Board allocated funds to colleges to provide need-based assistance to students enrolled less than half-time in certificate, diploma or associate degree programs. Eligibility is determined by the student data obtained from the FAFSA.

North Carolina Targeted Assistance Grant

The State Board allocated funds for community college students who enroll in low-enrollment programs that prepare students for high-demand occupations. The amount of the actual award and the programs used is selected by the institution and can change yearly.  Eligibility is determined by the student data obtained from the FAFSA.
